When you're in a 4-man group, you have a chance of dropping unbound normal rank 1 gems, up to 5 per day pretty quickly, then one per hour after. Platinum can be earned in 3 major ways: 1) buying it, 2) earning 300 through daily activity and 3) selling items on the marketplace. In this post, I'm going to discuss platinum: how to earn it, where to spend it, etc. Importantly, platinum is the best way to acquire specific legendary gems, and so it is an important currency to maximize. There are ways to buy it with cash, and there are ways to earn it through play. ![]() Platinum is the "freemium" currency in DI: not as freely available as gold, but not pay-only like eternal orbs. ![]()
